Before You Hit Record.
You can make it about the mic if you feel better about how to get started. We get it. And yet, to create and build a podcast that you’re excited and proud of requires further thinking. That’s why we’re here. We’re producers. From concept, strategy, creation, brand identity, planning, style, design, talent, publishing, platforms, promo, audience - we do it from start to finish. Unless of course, you want us to meet you where you left off.
It started with Howard Stern …
Uh, Yep.
It was 1997 when PRIVATE PARTS an American biographical comedy film was released. It was based on Howard Stern’s book of the same name. Producer, Amy Goldberg closely followed and was inspired given that it was Produced by Ivan Reitman, and Executive Produced by Ivan’s long-time producing, writing, directing partner, Daniel Goldberg, her brother. It wasn’t so much in the making of that fascinated her, although they all became great friends, it was Howard’s story and his dream of becoming an on-air radio personality. He was unconventional, yet self-motivated. He recreated his persona. He kept going despite being horrible in the beginning. He fell down and got up repeatedly. He persevered. Despite being fired from various job.
Fast forward.
Howard gained great success and in 2005, he shocked the world by leaving radio and accepting a $500 million dollar deal to move his show to Sirius satellite radio. In 2015, he renewed with a 5-year deal for $90 million per year until 2025.
Which brings us back to our motivation - human potential and the ability to keep going when you know something feels right. Amy learned at an early age that although you may start out doing something entirely different, if you’re paying attention, you learn how to transition and morph into enhanced aspects of your craft if you stay the course.
And that’s what she and her team do - exceptional work that propels you and your work. In this case, your podcast.
“Amy’s solid. She’s the real deal. She rights the ship in any storm.”
