This

This is the beginning of a new journey, a different and evolving perspective as I embark on rediscovering familiar surroundings that I have not explored for more than 35+ years. My familiarity will be based on my past as I emerge into the present with a more current and engaging experience.

I moved back to my hometown.

With that I find it interesting, because as I may long for a memory that simply resides there, in my memory, this new reality will have me seeing things perhaps for the first time. In fact, I know I will be seeing things with fresh eyes, and I’m excited by that.

After covid, I felt as if I had awakened to a big city that no longer knew how to be. It is as if I emerged to a heavy black heart that was beating within this city I had lived for so long. We didn’t quite know how to act, to engage, to be with one another. We’d lean in for a hug only to have a fist thrown in front of us to bump. And yet we longed for that hug.

We were thrown into a tentative world where we needed to navigate things differently. And we came into it a little less trusting. This was the feeling that expressed itself.

And that’s when I decide to move — back, with a forward thinking mind.

And yet I have always understood that it must start with us, and what each one of us bring into the experience. Into the world. I have always chosen to lead with kindness. Even though, and admittedly it can be tough when I’m in a different head space. During those times I do the one thing that has always served me well — and that’s to pause. In the quiet I find the answers.

As I begin a new journey I find myself motivated to share what I have gathered, learned, and experienced in a way that only one can, in one’s own skin, hoping that it offers a different perspective to those who choose to read what I must express.

My interest and keen learnings have led me to be guided by the questions, so that I may find the answers to, how do we hone the skills, motivation and yes, inspiration, to garner more energy to lead an exceptional quality of life. By that I mean in everything that we do. The way we lead our lives in its entirety. Recognizing that this is not a fade or quick fix or guru-like process — it’s a conscious journey and intentional experience that, if interested and motivated, will enable us to lead a life that speaks to us. Individually and authentically.

As humans we contribute to one another in many ways. Even the tough stuff, the challenging experiences where we’re thinking why me. There’s an intent there. A learning hidden within the experiences that truly either makes us or breaks us. Breaking isn’t negative — it’s an opportunity to grow even stronger. To become more resilient. As I write this, I need to express that these words will be only words to you if you don’t action them in some way. Even manifesting this doesn’t move you unless you decide to move it through action.

This is the beginning of where we start together if willing. Where we, together, see what we’re capable of. To explore our superpowers in a way that we haven’t yet quite understood. So, I welcome you to explore this life with me so that this shared life of us has meaning, purpose, and a way where we can express ourselves in the highest regard. With energy, compassion, peace, love and with a whole heart.

Our life is not to hold back. It’s to give our all.
